Texas Quidditch won the collegiate division at the 2022 Southwest Regional Championship. Texas Cavalry won the club division. The tournament took place February 19-20, 2022 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Five collegiate teams competed at the Southwest Regional Championship, which took place at LaGrange Soccer Park in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on February 19-20, 2022. Collegiate teams participated in a round robin format, playing each other once. Upon completion of the round robin, a championship game was played, along with a final bid game to determine who was awarded the third bid to US Quidditch Cup 2022.
Texas Quidditch won the collegiate division with UTSA Club Quidditch as runner-up. The score for the championship match was 205-90 (29:58). The game was officiated by head referee Miles Travis, and the snitch runner was Trey Riles. This is Texas Quidditch’s second regional title, having won this event in 2019.

Six club teams competed in the club division. This division had a pool play tournament on Saturday only. Following that, the top two teams competed for the championship and the remaining 4 teams played cross pool games. Texas Cavalry won the club division, and Texas Hill Country Heat was the runner-up.
