USQ’s diversity, equity, and inclusion team has opened applications for 2021-22 season committee members. Applications close June 1.
The diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) committee is now accepting applications for the 2021-22 season.
This new committee has helped establish and advise on a number of updates and initiatives within USQ including a rulebook audit, changes to the event bidding process, harassment reporting changes, the BIPOC member grant, and the census.
This committee will work collaboratively with the Strategic Planning Manager, Megan Anderson; and Executive Director, Mary Kimball. Members of this new committee will have the opportunity to meet with current committee members to help transition projects to the new group. Committee members will be expected to actively contribute to projects and discussions on a regular basis.
With regards to operation, this committee will continue to advise other departments on DEI work and help hold the league accountable for DEI goals and the progress towards them. The continued goal is for all departments to contribute to these goals, not just DEI committee members.
