USQ Update
Team Membership & Equipment Grant Recipients
Announcing the recipients of the team membership grant and equipment grant.
US Quidditch is proud to be offering several grants for our members. Grants offered by USQ are funded through fundraising efforts done by the organization throughout the year. All grant applications were anonymized and reviewed by members of USQ staff from various departments and members of USQ's Board of Directors. After review, it was determined that all applicants would be receiving their requested grant.
LET THE KIDS PLAY EQUIPMENT GRANT
This grant, led as an initiative from the USQ Board of Directors, will provide a new set of hoops for college or youth teams (value of $250). The hoop supplier will be Shooty Hoops Supplies, which is owned and operated by Matt Melton and Krystina Packard. The recipients of this grant are:

- Macaulay Marauders
TEAM MEMBER GRANT
This grant covers the team registration fee and nine individual player memberships valid for the 2021-22 season (value of $880). The recipients of this grant are:
- Brown Club Quidditch
- Florida Gulf Coast Quidditch
- Grand Valley Quidditch
- Harvard Horntails
- Macaulay Marauders
- Michigan State Quidditch
- Rutgers University Quidditch
- The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- WVU Summit
