The second annual USQ Service Awards were given to 15 volunteers in recognition of their contributions to the sport of quidditch.
USQ Service Awards are in recognition of outstanding commitment to the sport of quidditch through the activities and contributions of volunteers. In its second year, the awards are presented to those who have volunteered for USQ year round for five or more years as of July 1, 2020.
“I am so thankful for all the time and passion that these people have put into the league and into our sport. We are lucky to have them,” said Executive Director Mary Kimball.
Logan Anbinder: 9 years, Executive Assistant to the Executive Director
Katrina Bynum: 6 years, Event Volunteer Coordinator, Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator, and Volunteer Coordinator
Brandi Cannon: 6 years, Diversity & Equity Coordinator
Kym Couch: 5 years, Northwest Regional Coordinator, Referee Coordinator, and Rules Coordinator
Clay Dockery: 6 years, Referee Coordinator and Rules Coordinator
Matthew Dwyer: 5 years, Great Lakes Regional Coordinator
Emily Hickmott: 5 years, Gameplay Coordinator
Sarah Kneiling: 10 years, Gameplay Coordinator and Rules Coordinator
