Follow the Action at 2020 West Regional Championship

The West Regional Championship takes place February 22-23 in Livermore, California. Information about how to stay updated on the action (including livestream) is below.


Collegiate teams will participate in a single round robin format for all 10 teams to determine the collegiate regional champion as well as the four collegiate teams who qualify for US Quidditch Cup 13. The teams will participate in a double round robin format for all three teams. Games will take place on Saturday only. There will be no club games on Sunday. All teams will play each other two times.

Saturday, February 22:

  • 6:45 am - USQ staff on-site
  • 7 am - setup volunteers arrive
  • 8 am - teams arrive at fields, player-check in begins, HQ opens
  • 9 am - first games begin
  • 1 pm - youth quidditch workshop
  • 1:45 pm - youth quidditch workshop
  • 2:30 pm - youth quidditch workshop
  • 6 pm - last game slot of the day

Sunday, February 23:

  • 6:45 am AM - USQ staff on-site
  • 7 am - setup volunteers arrive
  • 7:30 am - teams arrive at fields, player-check in begins, HQ opens
  • 8 am - first games begin
  • 12:45 pm - youth quidditch workshop
  • 1:30 pm - youth quidditch workshop
  • 4 pm - last game slot of the day

Facility Information

The tournament takes place at Robertson Park. Parking is free.

The forecast for this weekend is highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. We will play rain or shine. 

Permanent restrooms are located adjacent to the fields. 


Facility Policies

  • Outside food and drink are allowed into the general park area. However, they are not allowed within the fenced area of the turf fields. 
  • Per park policy, no alcohol, propane gas, or open flames will be allowed on the event site. Park staff has the ability to eject any participants consuming alcohol at the event.
  • Pets are allowed on the premises but are not allowed within the fenced area of the turf fields.


Select games may be livestreamed on USQ’s YouTube account. Face Beat It will also be streaming games on their Facebook account.

We will be selling merch at this event, including an event t-shirt and trading cards. We will also have USQ apparel available.


Food Truck Mafia will be on-site with a couple food trucks. The hours on Saturday are 11:30 am - 4 pm and Sunday from 11:30 am - 3 pm.
