The Northeast Regional Championship will take place October 26-27 in Warwick, Rhode Island. Information about how to stay updated on the action (including livestream) is below.
The collegiate teams will participate in pool play in four pools, four of four (4), before continuing on to a bracket structure to determine the collegiate regional champion as well as the seven (7) collegiate teams who qualify for US Quidditch Cup 13. The club teams will participate in a single round robin, playing each other team one time. The club circuit event will take place on Saturday only; there will be no bracket. Games played in the club division will be worth 2 circuit points per game.
Saturday, October 26:
7:00 am - setup volunteers arrive
7:30 am - player check-in starts for those who did not check in Friday evening
8:15 am - coaches and captains meeting for those who did not attend one on Friday evening

11:15 - 12:45 pm - youth quidditch workshop

Sunday, October 27:

4:00 pm - medal ceremony
The tournament takes place at Bend Street Field Complex.

When you turn into the complex, there is first a cluster of baseball fields on the left. Continue straight, and you will come upon the soccer fields. We recommend that teams park in the middle of the complex. Parking is free.
Limited bleacher seating is available. Spectators are encouraged to bring in chairs.
The forecast for Saturday is mostly sunny with a high of 62°. For Sunday, rain is likely with a high of 58°. We will play rain or shine.
There is a permanent restroom building adjacent to the fields, along with portapotties.

Score posters will be at the HQ tent. Online, scores will be shared on the Twitter. The bracket for the collegiate division will be released on Saturday evening, after games have finished.
On Saturday, we will have two free introduction to quidditch workshops for those aged 5-18 (aimed at elementary, middle, and high school students). We will go over the basics of the game, run some drills, and have a scrimmage.
USQ will provide all the equipment. Participants are required to wear closed toe shoes and encouraged to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
All participants will need to have their parent or guardian sign a waiver.
Sign-ups are available online and participants can also sign up for either or both workshops in person at the HQ tent.
We will be selling merch at this event, including an event t-shirt and trading cards. We will have a limited supply of USQ apparel. Please be sure to bookmark our DFTBA online store as we will be fully stocked again by Thanksgiving and they will be running a special on free shipping around that time.
The Pit Stop will be on-site on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. They sell burgers, salads, gyros, kabob plates, and more.

Proclamation Ale Company has invited attendees of Northeast Regional Championship to their brewery on Saturday night. Their Warwick location is just 15 minutes from Bend Street Field Complex and 5 minutes (1 mile) from the 2 hotels that teams are staying at. They are a family friendly brewery. From 5 - 8 pm, an Asian fusion food truck will be on-site (Fugo); food can also be brought in or delivered. They are open until 10pm.
