Thank You to Our Members!

USQ would like to thank our members for a great 2018-19 season, plus recognize our graduating and retiring athletes.

US Quidditch would like to say thank you to our athletes for a great 2018-19 season. Our members are the reason that quidditch continues to grow, and we are grateful for all that they have contributed to the league this year. We also wanted to take a moment to recognize those who graduated or retired from our sport at the end of this season. USQ thanks you for your time as a member of this community and we hope to continue to see you grow and contribute as you start a new chapter in life.

If you wish to stay involved with quidditch after graduation or retirement from the sport–we have a few suggestions below for you.

Join or Create a Community Team

For college athletes, if you would like to continue to play quidditch post-graduation, consider joining a community team! If there is not a team in your area, you can consider creating a new community team. To locate a team, visit the teams directory for the complete list. If you are having issues locating a team or finding a team’s contact information, you can email membership@usquidditch.org for assistance.

Volunteer for USQ

Want to stay involved in the sport, but not interested in playing? Join the USQ volunteer team! We are always looking for passionate individuals to help work on-site at events or assist with administrative projects year round. Some examples of the ways you can get involved include event planning, gameplay, youth quidditch, development, graphic design, marketing, and more. To apply for a volunteer position, click here. If you are interested in something specific and don’t see it listed, email volunteer@usquidditch.org. We’ll be adding more positions over the coming weeks.

You can also volunteer for individual USQ events. More information on opportunities to volunteer at USQ events next season will be available later this summer.

Join the Quidditch Alumni Association

The Quidditch Alumni Association aims to create an alumni network to connect, grow, and give back to the sport that we love. The Quidditch Alumni Association hosts networking events at select tournaments for members, offers career connects through member-only directories and groups, in addition to raising funds for outreach and support initiatives in quidditch. Become a Coach, Referee, or Snitch Runner

We encourage anyone looking to stay involved in our sport to become certified as a coach, referee, or snitch runner. As a coach, you can help mentor the next generation of quidditch players and grow your leadership skills while gaining experience. We encourage you to reach out to teams in your area to see if they are in search of a coach. Click here to learn more about our coaches membership.

You are also welcome to stay on as a referee or snitch runner if you have already completed certification. Just remember to renew your membership for the upcoming season if you plan to participate at tournaments at this capacity. If you are not certified, we would love to have you join the team! To learn more about referee certification, click here. Or to learn more about snitch runner certification, click here.

Attend Tournaments

USQ will always love to see you at tournaments in the future, whether it be to play or just to cheer on teams! Click here to view our event calendar, and check back often for updates. You can also sign up for email updates by clicking here.
