Summer 2019 Youth Quidditch Info & Workshops

US Quidditch has released a youth workshop hosting information packet and is highlighting upcoming youth workshops around the country.

US Quidditch is proud to announce the release of the Youth Workshop Host Info Packet. This information helps guide anyone who is interested in hosting a youth workshop. Resources included in the packet range from suggested drills, event marketing tools, and other recommendations for successfully running a youth quidditch workshop. We hope that members of the quidditch community will take advantage of this resource and utilize it to host their own events in their communities. USQ is also finalizing the development of a resource packet for teams as well, which will include additional information for starting a youth team.

Hosting a youth workshop is an effective way to increase the visibility of our sport, in addition to inspiring a new generation of athletes to join our sport. It also provides the opportunity for workshop leaders to sharpen their leadership skills by brushing up on the basics.

In addition to the release of the information packet, we would like to highlight some upcoming youth workshops hosted by quidditch teams—listed below. If you have any questions about our youth programs, please reach out to youth@usquidditch.org.
