How to follow West Regional Championship this weekend

Follow live updates from Roseville, California this weekend during the 2019 West Regional Championship.

We’ll be tweeting scores all weekend @USQScores. Live updates and coverage of games will come from @USQLive. Photos and videos will be posted to the USQ Instagram story throughout the day, and livestreamed games will be hosted on YouTube. Updates will also be posted on the Facebook event. The hashtag for the event is #WRC2019.

If you’re in the area, the event is free and open the public. We will play rain or shine.

Saturday, February 9:

6:30 am— Set-up begins with staff

7:00 am — Set-up begins with volunteers

8:00 am —Teams arrive and check-in begins (for players who did not check-in Friday)

8:00 am — Gates open to the public

8:30 am — On-site captains meeting for those that didn’t check in on Friday; Referee and Snitch Runner Meeting for HRs, LARs, and snitch runners

9:00 am — Games begin

2:15 pm — Youth quidditch instruction

7:30 pm — Games end

Sunday, February 10:

7:00 am — Set-up begins with staff and volunteers

8:00 am — Teams arrive

8:00 am — Gates open to the public

8:30 am — Games begin

11:30 am — Youth quidditch instruction

4:45 pm — Final round of games

5:30 pm — Medal presentation 

For youth quidditch, you do not have to sign up in advance to participate, just stop by the HQ tent on-site. All participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers will be available at the event; however, you may also request a waiver in advance by contacting


Parking is free. No pets are allowed onto the fields. Service dogs are allowed. Outside food and drink is allowed. Spectators may bring chairs out onto the fields. We recommend that attendees be prepared for rain on both days.

Attendees can sign up to get weather alerts and schedule updates via text message here. Please note that mass text messages can only be sent between 8 am and 9 pm.

There is a small bathroom building located next to the fields, and we will have porta potties as well. Also, the bathrooms in the baseball diamond and inside the Community Center will also be open.


US Quidditch merch, including event t-shirts and trading cards, will be available to purchase on-site at the HQ tent. Good Dog, a hot dog stand featuring gluten and vegan options, and North Border Taco, selling tacos, burritos, and more–will be on-site all weekend. Four Score Coffee will have hot and cold caffeinated beverages, pastries, and donuts in the morning.

11:15 am - Arizona State University vs Raptor Quidditch at the University of Utah

12:45 pm - Northern Arizona University Narwhals vs Wizards of Westwood

1:30 pm - Utah State Quidditch Club vs San Jose State University Spartan Quidditch

2:15 pm - The Lost Boys vs The Fighting Farmers of America

3:00 pm - California Dobbys vs Silicon Valley Vipers

3:45 pm - Los Angeles Gambits vs The Fighting Farmers of America

4:30 pm - Rain City Raptors vs Silicon Valley Vipers

5:15 pm - Utah State Quidditch Club vs Anteater Quidditch
