The USNT has defeated Australia 100*-30, with a fantastic catch by USNT seeker Harry Greenhouse. In a game that started off evenly matched, the US side gained momentum thanks to several key goals from Jayke Archibald and Samuel Haimowitz. Beater Jackson Johnson was instrumental in snitch-on-pitch, including an exceptional play where he threw his bludger at the quaffle, knocking it back to the USNT chasers and setting them up to score.
This match marks the USNT’s sixth all-time win against Australia. Stay tuned for the USNT’s semifinal match against the UK at 3 pm local time, 9 am EDT.
