Strategic Planning Feedback Survey Open

USQ is soliciting additional feedback for the strategic planning process via an open feedback survey.

In 2015, USQ released a three-year strategic plan, outlining our goals for the development of the league. As the 2017-2018 season draws to a close, we are in the process of finalizing a new three-year strategic plan, which will be released this summer.

The development of the new strategic plan began in summer 2017 and so far has consisted of soliciting feedback from stakeholders, including players, fans, volunteers, staff, and the Board of Directors, via in-person conversations, remote conferences, and online surveys. USQ has also formed an internal strategic planning committee.

As the planning process continues, USQ would like to solicit specific feedback from stakeholders in a number of areas. These areas are:

  • New team development
  • Youth team development
  • Potential regional boundary revision
  • Potential introduction of community division combined “super-regional” championships
  • Improving league communications with teams
  • Increasing the number of competitive opportunities available for teams

We encourage all players, fans, volunteers, and other stakeholders who are interested in providing additional feedback in one or more of these areas to participate in the following:

  • Complete this strategic planning survey (it should take approximately 15-20 minutes)
  • Email us at strategicplanning@usquidditch.org with your thoughts on ways to accomplish the above goals
  • Email us at strategicplanning@usquidditch.org to schedule a time to speak with a member of the strategic planning committee
  • Speak with Sarah Woolsey, Executive Director and chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, at US Quidditch Cup 11
  • Complete the end-of-year membership survey when it is released

We thank the members of our community for their invaluable feedback so far and look forward to continuing to work in the coming months to create an actionable, proactive, and visionary strategic plan.
