Friday, October 27:

All Day —Teams arrive at hotels.
9:00-11:15pm. —Teams begin the event registration process
9:00-10:00pm — Player-check-in at Microtel Inn and Suites

9:30pm — Captains/coaches meeting at Microtel
10:30-11:15pm— Player check-in at Hampton Inn Airport

10:45pm— Captains/coaches meeting at Hampton Inn

Saturday, October 28:

7:00am— Setup begins
7:30am - Volunteer check-in begins
8:00am —Teams arrive, Player check-in resumes, officials meeting for all head referees and snitch runners, meeting for captains/coaches not in attendance Friday night
8:30am — Opening Ceremonies begin
8:40am — Opening Ceremonies conclude
9:00am — Games begin
2-2:45pm— Youth quidditch on Field 1
5:15pm — Games end

Sunday, October 29:

7:00am— Setup begins
7:30am - Volunteer check-in begins
8am — Teams arrive
9am — Games begin
11:30am-1:15pm— Youth quidditch on Field 1
5:15pm — Medal presentation

Youth quidditch is a non-contact adaption of the sport that’s great for all ages. To participate, come to the HQ tent and fill out a waiver. We’ll give the participant a wristband. Show up at the kids area at the designated time. We will provide all the teachers and equipment!


Food will be available for purchase on site on Sunday. Coffee Rescue will be selling beverages and snacks.

Parking is free.


USQ merchandise will be available for sale. We are selling event t-shirts, hats, zip-ups, and more. We accept credit cards and cash.

WizKid Wands will also be on-site selling wants.


Select games may be livestreamed through USQ’s Livestream channel and USQ’s Facebook Page. Fans can also follow The Eighth Man and The Quidditch Post for additional coverage.

The event is being held at River Oaks County Park in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Great Lakes Regional Championship is in partnership with Discover Kalamazoo.
