6:30 a.m.— Set-up begins with staff and volunteers
8:00 a.m. —Teams arrive and check-in begins (for players who did not check-in Friday)
8:00 a.m. — Gates open to the public
8:20 a.m. — Opening Ceremonies begin
8:30 a.m. — Coaches and captains meeting for those that didn’t check in on Friday, Referee and Snitch Runner Meeting
9:00 a.m. — Games begin
11:00 a.m. — Youth quidditch at kids area
5:00 p.m. — Games end, clean-up begins with staff and volunteers
7:00 a.m.— Set-up begins with staff and volunteers
8:00 a.m. — Teams arrive
8:00 a.m. — Gates open to the public
9:00 a.m. — Games begin, round of 16
11:00 a.m. — Youth quidditch at kids area and quarter finals begin
2:20 p.m. — Semifinals
4:30 p.m. — Championship match
5:10 p.m. — Closing ceremony
Youth quidditch is a non-contact adaption of the sport that’s great for all ages. To participate, come to the HQ tent and fill out a waiver. We’ll give the participant a wristband. Show up at the kids area at the designated time. We will provide all the teachers and equipment!
Harvest Mobile Cuisine – 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
US Quidditch merchandise will be available to purchase. Items include the event t-shirt, trading cards, headbands, zip-ups, and more.
Diagon Valley will also be in attendance. They are the Miami Valley’s local chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance (HPA). The HPA is an international organization that turns fans into heroes by inspiring activism through the power of storytelling. Diagon Valley’s goal is to make an impact in the local community by focusing on Magical Acts of Kindness. Recent campaigns have focused on promoting literacy (Accio Books), helping the local community (Free Dobby Sock Drive), and civic engagement (Wizard Rock the Vote). Craft items with a Harry Potter theme will be offered in exchange for a donation to the group. Items include mugs, glassware, buttons, and more.
