Individuals caught attempting to use false identification information for the purpose of taking a USQ certification quiz will have their coach and/or referee membership suspended without warning, effective immediately.
Due to attempts by multiple players and teams to manipulate the Classmarker website in taking their referee and coach certifications, USQ is announcing a new policy: any attempt to subvert the 24 hour waiting period when taking Classmarker certification quizzes will result in a season-long suspension of that person’s coach and/or referee memberships. A guiding principal of the Member Code of Conduct is sportsmanship and fair play. Cheating on USQ certification quizzes violates both of these values.
Please note that if you are caught cheating on a coach certification test, your coach membership will suspended and you will be prohibited from being a certified coach for the duration of the season. Teams with a suspended coach must completely certify a new coach prior to participating in official matches. In addition, teams may be subject to forfeiting the games the suspended coach was present for, if the violation is discovered after an official game has been played. If you are caught after having already played games, those games will not count for season requirements, both for USQ regional and national championships.
There will be no further warnings issued for any such cases. Please be advised that any manipulation of the website is not allowed. When an individual fails a certification quiz, they must wait at least 24 hours before re-taking it. All USQ certification quizzes have a mandatory 24 hour waiting period.
This policy is effective immediately.
Beginning with the 2017-18 season, any such infractions will also result in a season-long suspension of all of the individual’s USQ memberships.
