The event is being held at Lake Myrtle Sports Park, 905 Lake Myrtle Park Rd, Auburndale, FL 33823. Auburndale is halfway between Tampa and Orlando. The event is held in partnership with Central Florida's Polk County Sports Marketing.

“Quidditch has always been on Polk County’s radar to host events. The opportunity and rapid growth the sport has shown is incredible and ultimately was the reason why we bid for the event.  To have the chance to host the South Regional Championship is extremely exciting and we look forward to working with US Quidditch and their staff,” said Ryan Ritchie, Sales and Event Representative of Central Florida’s Polk County Sports Marketing.

Lake Myrtle Sports Park has 11 fields, all with bermuda grass. It hosts the Florida Sports Hall of Fame and the Florida Youth Soccer Association. Besides soccer, it has hosted tournaments for baseball and lacrosse, including the deBeer Presidents Cup.
