“It was great seeing so many teams competing at the fourth annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship. The sportsmanship demonstrated on and off pitch this weekend was a credit to the region, and I appreciate all the teams who played hard and demonstrated what our sport has to offer. Thank you especially to the Virginia Beach CVB and all the volunteers who worked to make the weekend a success,” said Sarah Woolsey, USQ Events Director.
US Quidditch wishes to congratulate DCQC and all qualifying and competing teams who raised funds, traveled to the event, and played tough and exciting games. USQ is especially grateful to its staff, volunteers, referees, and snitches who helped plan and put on the event -- their contributions and hard work help to make the event possible. Special thanks to Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Hunt Club, and Go Rescue Pet Adoption for their support of USQ and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship.
