Every great story needs a great soundtrack, and this weekend’s Northeast Regional Championship is no different! USQ has compiled a playlist that will get you so pumped up, you’re sure to enter the pitch pitch-perfect.

  1. Send Me On My Way-Rusted Root

This song is required listening for any road trip or long journey. I dare you to listen to this, and NOT prance around pretending you can make Cheerios fly around the room like Matilda.

  1. Empire State of Mind-JAY Z, Alicia Keys

Okay, so Rochester isn’t New York City per say but it’s still in the Empire State and this song will still get you hyped.

  1. Heads Will Roll-Yeah Yeah Yeahs

This song gets you ready to take on any opponent, even if you can’t really understand anything they’re saying after the chorus.

  1. Work Hard, Play Hard-Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa champions the benefits of a good, strong work ethic.

  1. Don’t Stop Me Now-Queens

Freddy Mercury is the perfect pick-me-up in between games when you really need a second wind. Put this on when you’re just about to burn out, and suddenly you’ll be burning through the sky, two-hundred degrees, like Mister Fahrenheit. Which is a good thing. I think.

  1. Heartbeat Song-Kelly Clarkson

Our American Idol waxes harmonious on cardio activity. Or love. Or both? Don’t over think it.

  1. We Come Running-Youngblood Hawke

Almost two-dozen teams have come running to Rochester, headed for that open door to Nationals.

  1. My Shot-Lin-Manuel Miranda

Because it literally pained me to go this long without listening to a song from the Hamilton soundtrack; also this song is about seizing the moment, cashing in on your potential, and getting the job done like our Founding Fathers. America!

  1. Hall of Fame-The Script, will.i.am

This song is no stranger to highlight reels, sports clip montages, and video game soundtracks…and for good reason. It’s super inspirational, and catchy!! It’s a cliché for a reason, you guys.

  1. Everything is AWESOME!!!-Tegan and Sara, the Lonely Boys

Win or lose, quidditch—like dogs with fleas, allergies, and a book of Greek antiquities—is awesome.
