US Quidditch is excited to announce the opening of the bid submission process for events in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.
Interested parties may review USQ’s bid manual, accessible here, for detailed information on deadlines and requirements for hosting one of USQ’s premier events next season: the National Cup (currently called World Cup), one of eight Regional Championships, and/or QuidCon (2016-17 only).
To initiate the bid process, interested parties should first download and review the bid manual. Potential hosts must submit a letter of intent, along with the bid snapshot and the completed bid package, by April 17, 2015. USQ will select finalists from among the bids received by April 30, 2015, and will conduct site visits of all the finalist locations over the month of May. The locations for events for the next season(s) will be announced on June 1, 2015.
USQ will accept bids from any city or official college administration, or hybrid bids from a college-city partnership. If you wish to approach your city and/or college administration about bidding for a USQ event, please follow this link for further instructions.
