Maryland Quidditch won the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship with an OT victory over the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Henrico County, Virginia.
USQ congratulates Maryland Quidditch on its second consecutive Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship. Maryland was undefeated on the weekend and sealed its victory with a thrilling 160*-150 OT victory over the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
The Mid-Atlantic qualified eight other teams for USQ World Cup 8, which takes place on April 11-12, 2015 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. All ten teams, in order of bracket placement, are:

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship was a huge success for the surrounding area of Henrico County, Virginia, with an economic impact of $350,000.
