Apply now for event volunteer coordinator roles
The US Quidditch World Cup 8, coming to Rock Hill, South Carolina, in April 2015, is now accepting applications for volunteer coordinator positions.
Volunteer coordinators are an important part of the event that handle the tasks, responsibilities, and on-site volunteers World Cup 8 requires. USQ is searching for coordinators in areas ranging from gameplay, safety, and logistics, to marketing, ticketing, video, and more.
All positions are listed on the USQ website here.
Requirements vary, but most roles require or encourage tournament director certification (a free process that includes a one-hour seminar and written test) as well as a resume and cover letter. Preferred qualifications often include past experience in event or World Cup organizing.
Questions or materials should be emailed to recruitment@usquidditch.org.
