Each week, the IQA will post a series of weekly announcements. Check back here every week for the latest opportunities and announcements from the International Quidditch Association. weekly announcements Apply to be Southern Regional Director The IQA is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and charismatic member of the Southern community to become the next Southern Regional Director. The South Region consists of Alabama, Florida Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The Southern Regional Director will work closely with the other RDs and with the region's State and Expansion Representatives to foster environments of competition, creativity, and community within the region. RDs can expect to work about 20-25 hours per week. This position is not for the faint-hearted, but will be extremely rewarding for those who step up to the challenge. Those who are interested in improving the region and the sport of quidditch are encouraged to apply. The application process will consist of the following: -Submission of a resume, cover letter, and two letters of recommendation -Completion of a short-answer supplement that will provide insight into candidate's leadership instincts -An interview with the Teams Director (and possibly other IQA staff) To apply, please send a resume, cover letter, two letters of recommendation, and your supplemental answers to Hilary Jarman.
