After much deliberation by the Australian Quidditch Association executive committee, consisting of representatives from various parts of Australia, a decision has finally been made on the location of this year's Oceania regional championship tournament. QUAFL Cup 2013 will officially be hosted by the University of Western Sydney on its Parramatta campus on the weekend of November 30th and December 1st. Further positions on the organising committee are open to anyone and details on these positions and how to apply will be forthcoming in future months. The AQA would like to extend its appreciation to the UWS Thestrals for welcoming all official Oceania teams to their premises for such a big event. Approximately 12 teams will be expected to attend over the weekend to battle it out for the QUAFL Cup and a chance to attend the IQA's World Cup VII. Will UNSW's Snapes on a Plane once again bring home the cup or will there be another champion? We can only wait and see.
