Q&A with WCVII TD The IQA website will be featuring a question and answer session with World Cup VII Tournament Director Sarah Woolsey. Please submit any questions you have to editorial@internationalquidditch.org, and we may run them in this space. Don't hesitate to have your questions answered by the person in charge of World Cup!
Apply to be Assistant Editor The IQA website is seeking an assistant editor to help manage the content of this website. The deadline to apply has been extended to June 16. Up For Grabs The debut episode of Up For Grabs, a new program on the IQATVGames youtube channel has been released. Team West, check out Vanessa Goh's performance. If you're more a Midwesterner, perhaps you'll be enthralled by Tyler Rafferty. If you hail from the Quid-Atlantic, watch and cheer on Matt Panico. The Southwest's Alex Clark was the final panelist. Apply for Southern California State Representative The IQA is seeking applicants for the position of Southern California State Representative. Applications due by 11:59 PM on Sunday, June 30. To apply, send cover letter and resume to humanresources@internationalquidditch.org, along with questions. Key duties & responsibilities: -Building relationships with existing teams -Generating monthly reports about teams statuses and local events -Creating a state identity -Participating in twice monthly Skype/phone calls to update state reps and the Regional director about events, issues, etc. going on in the region -Giving support and resources to new teams -Assisting Regional Director to plan & support regional tournaments and conferences -Working with other state volunteers, state reps and the Regional Director to improve and expand region Required knowledge, skills, & abilities: -At least 1 year of quidditch experience, or has proficient knowledge about the IQA, the organizational structure, etc. -Excellent and prompt communication skills -Frequent access to email, Facebook, Skype, etc. -Proficient with data management (excel spread sheets, etc.) -Initiative/Self-starter -Works well on a team -Detail-oriented -Organization and time management skills -Passion for quidditch
