IQA Heads to LeakyCon

Trying to figure out what to do this summer? Then you should come to LeakyCon! The IQA will be hosting a ton of quidditch programming this weekend at LeakyCon Portland from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30. We'll be running quidditch pick-up games, competitive play and so much more!  leaky con slider

Pick-up games for all ages will take place on the following days in Exhibit Hall C (near the vendor area):

·       Friday: Pick-up games from 10am-4pm PDT

·       Saturday: Pick-up games from 10am-12pm PDT and 2-4pm PDT

  Competitive play: 12-2pm PDT

 ·       Sunday: Pick-up games from 10am-12pm PDT

If you want to learn more about how quidditch is played, come to our panel “(Muggle) Quidditch Through the Ages” at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday in C120-122. IQA Marketing Director Logan Anbinder can tell you about the history of quidditch, how the sport has evolved over time, and what we're looking forward to in the next few years.

Be sure to also talk with IQA'S COO Alicia Radford, who will be running the pick-up games on Friday. She is a great resource who knows about many of the things happening within the IQA and she heads the production of Quidditch Quarterly, our official quidditch magazine.
