Hillary Jarman Selected as Human Resources Director
The IQA is pleased to announce...
"This organization and all these people are some of the coolest I could possibly work with," said Jarman. "The sport, the leagues, the games are successful and I want to build on that to make the IQA run more smoothly."
Jarman's previous quidditch experience includes her tenure as Hospitality Director for World Cup VI. In this capacity, she oversaw hospitality operations for teams, guests, and VIPs, and coordinated the selection of entertainers Harry and the Potters, Team Starkid, and magician Nathan Nickerson during the event.
With a professional background in public relations, Jarman is ready to bring those skills to bear on her work as HR Director. "I... want to learn as many names and faces as possible and I want people to feel like they can come talk to me about anything," she said.
Jarman's fellow staffers are also excited to see the influence she will have on her department, which is one of seven in the IQA alongside Development, Gameplay, IT, Marketing, Membership, and Teams. "[She] will add stability to the department and keep the IQA moving in the right direction," said Gameplay Director Will Hack.
The IQA welcomes Hilary to her new position, and is excited to see the changes she will help bring to the league in the coming months!
