You may think that all the action will be on the pitch at World Cup VI, but there is plenty of magic to be found on the Kissimmee stage as well. The IQA has cast its summoning charm to gather a “supermegafoxyawesomehot” set list, with members of Team Starkid as headliners!
A Very Potter Musical's Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal, Joe Moses, and Joe Walker will travel from Pigfarts to perform at the Quidditch World Cup, emitting a potpourri of pop-cultural references from
Dr. Who,
Sherlock, The Potion Master, and the
Joe Moses Showses.
The Cup will also feature enchanting entertainment from Harry and the Potters, magician Nate Nickerson, and the St. Cloud High School Marching Band. Who needs a broomstick with this much talent to sweep you off your feet?!

Team Starkid
Formed at the University of Michigan in 2009,
Team StarKid represents a coalition of “supermegafoxyawesomehot” writers, directors, actors, and designers dedicated to creating accessible, quality theatre for the modern era.
StarKid first invaded the Internet in July 2009 with
A Very Potter Musical—a fan-made parody that premiered on YouTube and immediately went viral. Filmed during a live performance through the University of Michigan, the production was an instant hit with fans of the
Harry Potter series and quickly garnered nearly 2 million views. Other StarKid productions include
Me and My Dick,
A Very Potter Sequel,
Starship, and
Holy Musical B@man.
StarKid has pioneered the use the internet as a new and innovative way to produce theatre, making it accessible to millions of people around the world. To date, the StarKid YouTube channel has garnered over 130 million views, 177,000 subscribers, 156,000 Facebook friends, and over 70,000 Twitter followers worldwide—totally awesome!
Harry and the Potters
Imagine if Harry Potter quit the quidditch team and started a punk rock band. Take that one step further and imagine that he stole a time-turner and decided to start that band with himself from a different point in time. Imagine a band that uses the power of rock and roll as the ultimate weapon against evil. This is
Harry and the Potters.
Since 2002 they have released three full-length albums and played over 500 shows in libraries, rock clubs, art spaces, bookstores, basements, backyards, and pizza places all over the world. They are now hailed as the founders of the wizard rock genre—a D.I.Y movement of bands playing songs about the Harry Potter books.
Nathan Nickerson
Nathan Nickerson is an award-winning professional magician and mentalist from Pensacola, FL. He began studying magic and sleight of hand at the young age of 11. Over the last 12 years, Nathan has brought his unique style of magic to audiences across the US, England, and onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Nathan specializes in the modern style of magic … no wands, no top hats, no furry woodland creatures.
When Nathan is not performing, he spends his time consulting for security groups, TV and film, and theatrical productions. Nathan is the current President of the Gulf Coast Magicians Guild, as well as an active member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and the Society of American Magicians.
Nathan Nickerson and Harry and the Potters will be performing on Saturday; Starkid will be performing on Sunday. Again, don't miss your chance to check out all these acts by purchasing a World Cup weekend pass!
