Apply today for IQA Human Resources Director! human resources director slider The IQA's HR Director, Sara Sakowitz, is stepping down from the position, and we're looking for another dedicated, enthusiastic volunteer to take up the mantle! The human resources department is responsible for developing staffing policies, keeping in touch with all volunteers and departments of the IQA, reviewing applications, and dealing directly with staff progress and assessment. The HR director works on a volunteer basis, and is responsible for managing their staff of HR associates as well as coordinating all of the organization's HR projects. The position will require approximately fifteen to twenty (15-20) hours of work per week. Key duties & responsibilities:
  • Attend weekly Management team meetings
  • Receive/coordinate volunteer applications
  • Send confirmation/rejection emails to applicants
  • Proof and edit all writing that passes through the HR department
  • Keep staff directory/personnel records/calendar up to date
  • Distribute IQA bi-annual staff evaluations
  • Work to improve and maintain employee morale
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Two years of IQA experience
  • Frequent access to email, social media outlets and cell phone
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • Leadership instincts and experience
  • Professionalism and discretion with confidential information
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Time management
