Local Volunteer Artists Wanted for World Cup VI
Quidditch World Cup VI will be held in Kissimmee, Florida on April 13-14, 2013 and we're looking for local acts to provide entertainment during the weekend!
A cappella groups, dance troupes, face-painters, balloon animal makers, and other artists from the Orlando or Kissimmee area are invited to submit an audition to be selected for this incredible opportunity. Performers are responsible for their own travel and lodging. Attendance is expected to exceed 10,000 and there will be press coverage throughout the event. This is your chance to show your stuff to a huge audience!
Submit an entry that showcases your talent, creativity, uniqueness, or even weirdness. We want to see what makes you the best fit for the event and worthiest of representing the South region.
Acts should be family-friendly and appropriate for audiences of all ages. While this is a volunteer opportunity, if your act requires something dispensable, such as paint or balloons, we will compensate you for those costs. We will need to approve these costs before the event.
Submissions must be received no later than April 1st. Members of the World Cup Organizing Team will choose the acts that will be asked to attend.
