The development department is opening its doors to applicants for a variety of positions. Apply now for a spot on any of the following teams: Kidditch, Literacy, Title 9 3/4, Fundraising and Grants, or High School Development.

The goal of the development department in the IQA is to facilitate outreach projects and events that enhance the lives of quidditch players or any other individuals in need, in order to fulfill the organization's mission and maintain appropriate progress toward the organization's long-term goals and purpose.
The development department is currently seeking staff members. To apply, send a cover letter, resume, and answer to the supplemental question below to

Key duties & responsibilities:
-Help complete general tasks and projects in the department
-Work towards goals of particular team within the department
-Collaborate with other staff members, teams, and IQA supporters
-Establish goals and projects to better fulfill the organization's goals
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
-Regular and frequent access to email
-Ability to attend weekly meetings held via Skype calls
-Enthusiasm and passion for quidditch
Supplemental question: Which team (or teams) in the department interest you, and why?
Teams:
Kidditch team
-Develop youth quidditch opportunities and encourage participation in and development of kidditch events
Literacy team
-Encourage literacy through outreach, community service, and participation in quidditch
Title 9 3/4 team
-Improve gender equality in the league by creating policies such as the two-minimum gender requirement (IQA Rulebook 6, 3.1.1.3)
Fundraising & Grants team
-Solicit donations, apply for grants, and develop other fundraising strategies
High School Development team
-Work on examining ways that the needs of high school quidditch teams can be better met. This team focuses not on interactions with specific teams, but rather on general areas of improvement and needs for high school quidditch players.
