Executive Director |


As Executive Director, Kimball is responsible for the success of the organization and oversees the league's operations, programs, and staff. She is also responsible for setting and managing USQ's strategic plan and vision. She has been with USQ since 2015, serving as Assistant Events Manager, Events Mananger, and Events Director. She became Executive Director in 2019. Kimball has been working extensively with arts and sports non-profits for over 10 years. Her focuses include event planning, marketing and PR, fundraising and grant writing, program development, fiscal management, and staff and volunteer management. In addition to her time with small and grassroots nonprofits, she has significant experience collaborating with cities, park and recreation districts, school districts, and tourism bureaus. She has a B.A. in Drama with Honors in Stage Management from the University of California, Irvine (Zot, Zot!) and a certificate in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from the University of Washington.

Anderson oversees initiatives that work towards achieving key goals of  recruitment and retention as outlined in the strategic plan, and to support the office of the Executive Director and communications. Anderson is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and has been involved with the quidditch community since 2012, and has served in a number of different volunteer roles for USQ from executive assistant to hospitality manager at nationals and more. Outside of quidditch, she is the Special Projects Manager at Playhouse Square helping manage festivals, shows, and a variety of other programs.


Olivia Caughey

As Events & Member Services Manager, Caughey focuses on event logistics, general event support, member services customer service, and administration. In addition to those priorities, Caughey also plays a key part in the planning and execution of all USQ events and related programs in the events department, including national and regional championships. Caughey has her degree in communications and public relations with a minor in sports studies from East Carolina University. She has experience in a number of related roles, including coordinator of sport development at USA Baseball. She has also worked in university athletics, as a sports intern for a local newspaper, and for a summer collegiate baseball team. In those roles, she worked on-site at executive sporting events, as well as the behind-the-scenes preparation that goes into those roles.


Laura Porth

Director of Events & Partnerships |

Porth's role as Director of Events & Partnerships is planning and execution of all USQ events and related programs, including USQ Cup, regional championships, event based partnerships, event bidding and sanctioning, and the tournament director certification program. In events, she oversees programs and services for hospitality, field staff and volunteers, and tournament directors. She has extensive experience with sporting events with the Tulsa Sports Commission, runDisney, and other organizations.

Eric Schnier

Schnier's role as the Director of Gameplay & Member Services is planning and execution of USQ’s membership program as well as developing and implementing the policies and programs of the gameplay department. Schnier oversees the programs and services for our member athletes, coaches, referees, and snitch runners. In the gameplay department, he oversees referees, snitch runners, gameplay at USQ events, the rulebook, and all USQ gameplay policies . Schnier spends his spare time watching, playing, eating and breathing sports. He graduated from Florida State University in 2014.
