Sarah Woolsey

As Executive Director, Woolsey is responsible for the success of the organization and oversees the league's operations, programs, and staff. She is also responsible for setting and managing USQ's strategic plan and vision. Prior to starting as Executive Director in July 2016, Woolsey served as the Interim Executive Director of USQ from December 2015-July 2016, overseeing operations and organizational development in partnership with staff and volunteers. As Events Director from 2013-2015, Woolsey oversaw USQ's nine annual events, event bidding, event sanctioning, tournament director training, and directly or indirectly manages over 50 volunteers. Woolsey graduated from the University of Maryland and she has been involved in quidditch since 2010. Sarah has either organized or played in over 65 quidditch tournaments.

Anderson oversees initiatives that work towards achieving key goals of  recruitment and retention as outlined in the strategic plan, and to support the membership department’s programs. Anderson is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and has been involved with the quidditch community since 2012, and has served in a number of different volunteer roles for USQ from executive assistant to hospitality manager at nationals and more. Outside of quidditch, she is the Special Projects Manager at Playhouse Square helping manage festivals, the Broadway in Akron Series, and a variety of other programs.


Olivia Caughey

As Events Manager, Caughey focuses on event logistics, general event support, and administration. In addition to those priorities, Caughey also plays a key part in the planning and execution of all USQ events and related programs in the events department, including national and regional championships. Caughey has her degree in communications and public relations with a minor in sports studies from East Carolina University. She has experience in a number of related roles, including coordinator of sport development at USA Baseball. She has also worked in university athletics, as a sports intern for a local newspaper, and for a summer collegiate baseball team. In those roles, she worked on-site at executive sporting events, as well as the behind-the-scenes preparation that goes into those roles.


Mary Kimball

Events Director |

USQMaryKimballHeadshotKimball oversees the planning and execution of all USQ events and related programs, including nationals, regional championships, event bidding and sanctioning, and the tournament director certification program. She also does graphic design and assists with marketing and public relations. She has over 10 years of event management experience. Prior to starting with USQ in 2015, she worked primarily with theatre and art companies in Southern California like cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA and the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, producing events ranging in size from 12 people to crowds of more than 4,000. As a non-profit administrator, she also has extensive marketing and fundraising experience. She has a B.A. in Drama with Honors in Stage Management from the University of California, Irvine (Zot, Zot!).

Eric Schnier

Schnier's role as the Membership Director is responsible for the recruitment, retention, and engagement of members through two key programs: member services, and education and training. Schnier oversees the programs and services for our member athletes, coaches, referees, and fans. He directly manages over 30 volunteers through the referee team, the snitch team, the regional development team, and the member services team. Scnhier spends his spare time watching, playing, eating and breathing sports. He graduated from Florida State University in 2014.
