West Regional Championship 2019

Held at Maidu Regional Park in partnership with Placer Valley Tourism.

Admission is free and open to the public!

Want to try the sport for the first time? We’ll be teaching youth quidditch both Saturday at 2:15 pm and Sunday at 11:30 am to elementary, middle, and high school students. You do not have to sign up in advance to participate, just stop by the HQ tent on-site. All participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers will be available at the event; however, you may also request a waiver in advance by contacting events@usquidditch.org.

Friday, February 8:

All Day —Teams arrive at hotels.
Evening — Player check-in and captains meeting happen at each hotel.
9 - 10 pm — player check-in at SureStay Plus (4480 Rocklin Rd, Rocklin, CA 95677)
9:30 pm — captains meeting at SureStay
10:15 - 11:30 pm — player check-in at Best Western Roseville Inn (220 Harding Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678)
10:45 pm — captains meeting at Best Western
11:15 pm — captains meeting at Best Western 

Saturday, February 9:

6:30 am— Set-up begins with staff
7:00 am — Set-up begins with volunteers
8:00 am —Teams arrive and check-in begins (for players who did not check-in Friday)
8:00 am — Gates open to the public
8:30 am — On-site captains meeting for those that didn’t check in on Friday; Referee and Snitch Runner Meeting for HRs, LARs, and snitch runners
9:00 am — Games begin
2:15 pm — Youth quidditch instruction
7:30 pm — Games end 

Sunday, February 10:

7:00 am — Set-up begins with staff and volunteers
8:00 am — Teams arrive
8:00 am — Gates open to the public
8:30 am — Games begin
11:30 am — Youth quidditch instruction
4:45 pm — Final round of games
5:30 pm — Medal presentation
