USQ 2019 Northeast Collegiate Regional Championship

Held at Bend Street Field Complex in partnership with Rhode Island Sports Commission. 

Admission is free and open to the public! We encourage guests to RSVP via Eventbrite. Attendees can also chose to support USQ by paying an admission fee - a pay what you can RSVP. Funds raised through admission will have a positive impact on our mission to advance the sport by organizing events and programs that build community and empower all genders to compete together.

College teams from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont will compete at this event for the opportunity to attend the national championship, the US Quidditch Cup, and for the title of regional champion.

Want to try the sport for the first time? We’ll be teaching youth quidditch on Saturday to elementary, middle, and high school students. You do not have to sign up in advance to participate, just stop by the HQ tent on-site. All participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers will be available at the event; however, you may also request a waiver in advance by contacting events@usquidditch.org.

Parking and Facility Policies

Parking is free at the complex. 

Outside food and drink are allowed into the park.

Per park policy, NO alcohol, propane gas, or open flames will be allowed on the event site. Park staff has the ability to eject any participants consuming alcohol at the event.

Dogs and service animals are allowed on-site. However, pets are prohibited from being on the actual soccer fields.

Friday, October 25:

All Day —Teams arrive at hotels.
9:00 - 9:45 pm - Player check-in & coaches meeting at Radisson Hotel Providence Airport

Saturday, October 26:

7:00 am - setup volunteers arrive 
7:30 am - player check-in starts for those who did not check in Friday evening
8:15 am - coaches and captains meeting for those who did not attend one on Friday evening
9:00 am - games begin
11:15 - 12:45 pm - youth quidditch workshop
2:30 - 3:15 pm - youth quidditch workshop
6:00 pm - final round of games begin 

Sunday, October 27:

7:00 am - setup volunteers arrive
7:30 am - HQ opens
8:00 am - bracket play begins
12:45 pm - semi-final games
2:15 pm - championship game
3:15 pm - final bid game
4:00 pm - medal ceremony
