USQ 2019 Midwest Collegiate Regional Championship

Held at Papillion Landing in partnership with Sarpy County Tourism

Admission is free and open to the public! We encourage guests to RSVP via Eventbrite. Attendees can also chose to support USQ by paying an admission fee - a pay what you can RSVP. Funds raised through admission will have a positive impact on our mission to advance the sport by organizing events and programs that build community and empower all genders to compete together.

College teams from Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin will compete at this event for the opportunity to attend the national championship, the US Quidditch Cup, and for the title of regional champion.

Want to try the sport for the first time? We’ll be teaching youth quidditch on both Saturday and Sunday to elementary, middle, and high school students. You do not have to sign up in advance to participate, just stop by the HQ tent on-site. All participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers will be available at the event; however, you may also request a waiver in advance by contacting events@usquidditch.org.

Friday, November 8:

All Day —Teams arrive at hotels.
Evening — Player check-in and captains meeting happen at each hotel.
Check-in schedule will be released 3 weeks before the event.

Saturday, November 9:

7 am - setup volunteers arrive
7:30 am - player check-in starts for those who did not check in Friday evening
9 am - games begin
12:45 - 3:15 pm - youth quidditch workshop outside
4:15 - 6 pm - youth quidditch workshop outside
6 pm - final round of games begin

Sunday, November 10:

7 am - setup volunteers arrive
7:30 am - player check-in starts for those who did not check in already
9 am - games begin
12:15 - 1 pm - youth quidditch workshop outside
1:45 pm - semifinals
2:30 pm - youth quidditch workshop outside
4:30 pm - championship
5:15 pm - final bid game
