USQ 2019 Great Lakes Collegiate Regional Championship

Held at Voice of America Athletic Complex in partnership with Butler County Visitors Bureau

Admission is free and open to the public! We encourage guests to RSVP via Eventbrite. Attendees can also chose to support USQ by paying an admission fee - a pay what you can RSVP. Funds raised through admission will have a positive impact on our mission to advance the sport by organizing events and programs that build community and empower all genders to compete together.

College teams from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan will compete at this event for the opportunity to attend the national championship, the US Quidditch Cup, and for the title of regional champion.

Want to try the sport for the first time? We’ll be teaching youth quidditch on Saturday at 2:30 pm to elementary, middle, and high school students. You do not have to sign up in advance to participate, just stop by the HQ tent on-site. All participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers will be available at the event; however, you may also request a waiver in advance by contacting

Friday, November 1:

All Day —Teams arrive at hotels.
Evening — Player check-in and captains meeting happen at each hotel.
9:00 - 9:45 pm - Player check-in & coaches meeting at Hilton Garden Inn West Chester (9306 Schulze Dr, West Chester Township, OH 45069 )
The Hilton Garden Inn is .8 miles from the Comfort Inn
9:15 pm - captain and coaches meeting
10:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Player check-in & coaches meeting at Four Points by Sheraton Cincinnati North (7500 Tylers Pl Blvd, West Chester Township, OH 45069)

Saturday, November 2:

7:00 am - setup volunteers arrive
7:30 am - player check-in starts for those who did not check in Friday evening
9:00 am - games begin
2:30-3:15 pm - youth quidditch workshop
6:45 pm - final round of games begin

Sunday, November 3:

7:00 am - setup volunteers arrive
7:30 am - player check-in starts for those who did not check in already
9:00 am - games begin
1:45 pm - semifinals
4:30 pm - championship
5:15 pm - final bid game
