The Lost Ark team announced it carried out a major cleaning of bots
On Friday, the Lost Ark team Lost Ark Gold announced it carried out a major cleaning of bots and removed over a million unauthentic accounts. These accounts will be permanently banned with more being added in the coming weeks and months.
"Maintaining a fair and fun playing experience for our gamers is the top goal of the entire team," The Lost Ark team wrote on its official website. But, the team knows the possibility that some of the illegitimate accounts could have passed into the wrong hands. It was also mentioned that there was a possibility that, during a massive sweep the team could have mistakenly barred people who weren't making use of bots.
The representatives, most likely not looking to create any more bad backlash for Lost Ark, also laid out the process for those who have been a victim of the investigation, but who hasn't been using cheats or bots are able to appeal to the team in order to have their account restored. They also made it clear that its people are working hard to test and improve the process of getting rid of fake accounts as time goes on.
The clean-up that cleared this game from more than Lost Ark Gold for sale one million accounts was called the first step in several fixes for Lost Ark that are all aimed at making the game that much more enjoyable for those who play it as it's intended to be played. The team closed the official release with a clear statement that the latest action is likely to be followed by other purges and other approaches to remove people who do things which are detrimental to the community in the coming weeks and months.
