Based on the console you're using, holding NBA 2K22 MT down the square button for PS5 or X button for Xbox players while holding the triggers for RT and R2 and RT trigger respectively will let the player shoot for the dunk. Also, you can move the right stick towards the hoop and hold the RT or R2 trigger to go for a dunk in case you prefer that.

The dimensions of the box will vary. The higher the dunk rating and place of the player will increase the chances of making the move. In the event that an opponent guarding the paint, it will most likely result in a difficult finish. Particularties and characteristics like Lob City Finisher and Fearless Finisher give players particular boost when trying to finish dunks that are close to the rim.
