The City is exclusive to next-gen consoles, the penthouse apartment can only be unlocked in both the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions. Each completed quest rewards players with points, however the amount of MVP points earned will differ for each quest. Players can keep track of their progress by using the quest menu and navigating to in the City MVP section. Earning MVP points in NBA 2K22 is quite simple. Every single thing players do to advance in the MyCareer mode to strolling across the catwalk will give them points.
However, some tasks give greater points in comparison to other tasks. For instance, finishing the NBA Career Points: 5 (under City MVP quests) will award players 100,000 points, and finishing personal branding: Free Spirit 9 mission can earn you an additional 50,000 points. Other tasks, such as those in the Music Scene: Marvin's Room side quest , or deciding between College and G-League and earning fewer points (1,000 per).
When playing NBA 2K22, the crib serves as a central location for courts, quests, and networking. The penthouse is an open-plan floor plan that includes a pool table, windows that let you see out onto the City and lots of costly furniture. Along with the penthouse there are two additional benefits which are earned by earning"MVP" of the City. Participants will also earn 10,000 VC and acquire the zipline. The zipline can be used to move quickly from the penthouse and across the City.
For players on consoles of the new generation, the penthouse house is one of three rewards that can be earned by accumulating one million MVP points. Doing so requires completing various quests around the City and throughout MyCareer mode. The amount of MVP points rewarded per activity is determined by the category that the quest falls in as well as the difficulty of completing it. NBA 2K22 also awards players 10,000 VC as well as a zipline after taking on an MVP for the City challenge.
The new features, playable areas, and game mechanics in NBA 2k22 give players many enjoyable game options.
