At the 13 minute mark, Smith was NBA 2K22 MT on the show and received an answer to a question regarding the upcoming season of MyTeam which is a game where players can buy and accumulate packs of cards to create teams, and participate around the world in tournaments. The biggest news that could come out is the announcement of a Dark Matter card being the reward for achieving level 40. This marks the first time a card like this one can be obtained for free.

Smith didn't mention any names, but he also mentioned that two new players will be making their debuts in MyTeam and one of them is available at level one of MyTeam while the second will be member of MyTeam's Unlimited series. A fascinating aspect is the fact that their debuts being unique, which is an aspect that producers haven't able to attempt yet for this season.

Along with the news of an "plethora" of Galaxy cards that they have in mind There will also be the brand new Domination card coming out, but there is no information yet about who the player will be. The players will be busy climbing the ranks and getting packs to obtain these new, prominent units, in a campaign that promises to be lively and worthy of the hype that has been built around it. For fans of Greg Popovich, an ominous mention of one of the most successful coaches in the NBA's recent history has people raising questions about the motivation but there is no definitive evidence concerning it.
