My question is: at level 57 and hoping to be 70 What RS gold would you recommend regarding the equipment to train with and what to train on? I've got almost 1m in the bank (the sudden fall of the Abyssal Whip has done me no favours!) If I were to sell my current range of gear, I'd likely have around 1.2m.
I'm currently learning on pyrefiends . I'm using the equipment: Archer Helm/Helm of Neitiznot blue body of d'hide, blue D'hide chaps blue d'hide vambraces Ava's Accumulator, amulet of glory, mithril arrows and magic shortbows. Also probably worth noting as I mentioned above that my ranged level is currently 57 (not too far off the number 58) and my defence rating is at 64. Any suggestions on the right gear to put on, what weapon to use, and what to practice on would be gratefully received!
So i decided to go back to Runescape today to realize everything has changed quite a bit, Mages are as armored and Hp. In addition, they have Meleers, skills, action bar and many other things, which left me with a few questions I would like to know the answers to:
What are the most suitable boots to wear for Melee? ( After a lot of investigation, I found that the highest statistics are found in Mage's batwing boots, are there any better boots?, and are there any penalties to wearing them as a melee?)
Why should I wear rune gloves in the first place when Blue Dragon vambs and Batwing gloves are the same, however are much less expensive? What's the point of wearing rune armor in the first place!? ( With the exception of Vs Ranged) Does it have to be me or are the new changes making Melee the most underdog of PVP? Does someone who plays Melee pk quite well? ( and what is the best set for him to play it?) Does that the Amulet of Str a waste of time? ( I'm still not understanding the whole critique thing) Thanks for taking the time to read my question.
This is why I am making a new list of Adventures to add to my next log. I am unsure at this time about what I really want to do though. I'm hoping to steer clear of "getting the 99!" since I'm not that type of person. I prefer more tangible goals/etc over getting a 99.
One thing I am certain that I am not sure about is divination. It's not my favorite, but I do need to train on it for at some...I am tempted to hold out on buy Runescape gold it until they can come up with better experience training styles for it haha. (I'm thinking 48-70 is an acceptable goal to achieve at present)
