How can I obtain engravings from stones of ability
If you're like me, then you've finished Lost Ark Gold the Road to Faceting tutorial quest to find out about ability stones as soon as they was made available, and then removed them from your mind. Learn from my mistake Ability stones are important.

Each in the 3 engravings found on an ability stone , there is the diamond row that vary according to rarity. The two top rows are reserved for battle engravings, and the greater the number of diamonds which become successful facets, rather than grayed out pips, the more nodes you'll find. The lower engraving is the negative, and the diamonds beneath may crack increasing the number of nodes it has and the strength of the penalty, or preferably the grayed out pips that suggest no effect in any way.
You must complete the entire three rows buy Lost Ark Gold before an ability stone can be equipped. The odds of each attempt making a facet, which is the name used when battle engravings succeed in activating the node or crack, which is what it is when a negative engraving is added to an element, are displayed beneath the price. These odds rise after each failed attempt to activate and decrease after each successful activation. If your odds are extremely high (in the range of 65-75 percent) attempt to facet the engraving that's most important to you. When they drop down to 25 % or 35, test the engraving with a negative and hope it doesn't create excessive cracks. In between, try the engraving that's less beneficial for you.
