The 2019 Major League Quidditch Championship promises to be an event like no other! Come watch as 12 of our talented teams converge on Glover Park in Richmond, Va. to compete for the chance to hoist the Benepe Cup in triumph! Don’t miss any of the hard hits and highlight-reel goals as we whittle our way down to a historic finals match. Whether you are an avid sports fan looking to watch athleticism on display, or a fan of the wizarding world looking to see your favorite sport in person while taking advantage of some unique vendor opportunities, this event has something for everyone. About Major League Quidditch
Quidditch is a competitive, full-contact, mixed-gender sport played by athletes around the world. MLQ has set out to create a high-intensity environment for the best athletes in North America to hone their skills and compete for one of our sports highest honors: the Benepe Cup. The 15 teams competiting for a spot in the 2019 MLQ Championship hail from three divisions: East, North, and South.
- East Division: Boston Night Riders, New York Titans, Ottawa Black Bears, Rochester Whiteout, Washington Admirals
- North Division: Cleveland Riff, Detroit Innovators, Indianapolis Intensity, Minneapolis Monarchs, Toronto Raiders
- South Division: Austin Outlaws, Kansas City Stampede, League City Legends, New Orleans Curse, San Antonio Soldados

Ticket Information
Pre-sale is now open through July 28 on our Ticketleap!
We offer Weekend Passes, Single-Day Passes, Children’s Passes and the Ultimate Fan Package. Pre-Sale Weekend Passes and the Ultimate Fan Packages are available fthrough July 28. Children ages 5-12 get a special price, and children age 4 and under receive free admission to the event. Tickets will also be for sale on-site at the event.
Hotels
The Drury Plaza Hotel Richmond and the Hyatt Place Richmond Innsbrook will be the official hotels of the 2019 MLQ Championship. Ultimate Fan packages include discounted rates at these two hotels.
Teams will begin booking in early July. In the event rooms become available after all attending teams and Ultimate Fans have booked, we will contact Pre-Sale Weekend Pass holders to extend the MLQ discount on a first-come, first-serve basis.
After Party
Players, staff and volunteers are invited to Atlas 42 after the 2019 MLQ Championship to celebrate another season in the books!
This venue will feature an outdoor bar* and space, music, bar snacks and social games (ping pong, shuffleboard, cornhole, giant jenga, etc.). Tickets for this event can be purchased here.
Volunteer
Attending the 2019 MLQ Championship but you’d rather volunteer, referee or snitch than spectate? Fill out this form. If you have additional questions, email events@mlquidditch.com. Volunteers that commit at least six (6) hours of their time over the course of the weekend will get free admission to the event.
